A route to traverse 48 United States in less than five days!
United States of America is a country that spread over a half continent. To cross them first of all you need a well organized plan. A very helpful tool is the project of Stephen Von Worley at Data Pointed. He mapped out the most efficient route from South Berwick, Maine to Taft, Montana. It is a 6,872 miles distance crossing 48 out of 50 contiguous United states. The time needed is 113 hours, but of course that depends on the driver and the type of journey!
